I would love to go to this monster gathering in Austins, TX which consists of any band that really matters in today’s music as well as the top film related areas as well. The entire city is taken over my music and film for about a week and people that I know who have gone to this have said that it’s an intense scene of anything that matters in the art related fields and one rediculous party. Small bars with stages have band’s like MUSE playing in them and tents outside with up and coming artists fill the streets of Austin. The festivities are occuring right now as we speak and I have to say I am quite jealous of the people that get to attend and enjoy everything. I think I may plan a trip for this next year considering it can’t be too much to fly to Austin, TX during a random week in March, hopefully we can get some Ogden things going on. This year we’ll be tearing it up at Bamboozle and Warped Tour so whoever is planning on going should definately stop by the tent. Spin Magazine is being extra excellent this year by issued a free 50 song download from their website showcasing in their opinion the best 50 bands you need to hear at this year’s festival. Some of my favorites on there include free tracks from Circa Survive, Minus The Bear and Foxy Shazam. I included the link below so you can download the free track list yourself.
