Besides the highly anticipated release of Vampire Weekend’s Contra, the Baltimore based Indie Sleep Rock band (genre of music I named myself) Beach House is releasing their third full length album entitled Teen Dream. From what’s been heard the band still keeps their traditional sleepy feel but adds some poppier guitar hooks to pick up some of the songs that usually were perfect for those rained in days at your own beach house. What’s a pretty cool addition to this album is the fact that it comes with a DVD that has a music video for each track that has been directed by a different director for each one, a pretty damn good reason to actually purchase this album. In the meantime they just released their second single off the album called “Norway” and it received a 9 out of 10 rating from the ever opinionated Pitchfork website. I haven’t stopped listening to this band the past month because it’s been the perfect weather and time of year to match with the band’s music and am eagerly awaiting this full length. In the meantime here is the new single “Norway” which apparantly is the third track to the upcoming album coming out January 26th.
