Rough Times, Good Music

So I’m in debt and just had to bring my truck in for repair to add to that debt but in the meantime I have been borrowing my parent’s car to commute to my graduate school classes.  It’s been cool because they have Sirius and I’ve been jonesin’ to some good music on the Sirius XMU station and heard some good songs from Julian Casablancas who is formerly singer for The Strokes.  A friend of mine told me about him before I heard his song “11th Dimension” this week and I have to say it’s really catchy and sounds like the perfect late night after party song.  I really enjoy that station as well and would encourage anyone to put that on their favorites station, it’s channel 26.  Also I’m accepting donations for the fix Brent’s Dodge Dakota foundation starting tomorrow.

although this is a good late night dance session song, im gonna have to disagree with you on these guys. The strokes were already teetering on the edge of too poppy, who ever they added to form JulianC made it fall off the edge. Try “albert hammond jr”, its a dope side project of theirs.
