Just doing a little recap of what I have been listening to lately since I finally have been finding some new bands I really enjoy as well as going back to some old ones I never could get into at first.  It’s funny how it’s really tough sometimes to listen to a band someone tells you about that they love so much and you can’t get into it.  It sucks but sometimes you have to let the album sit on your iPod for days to even months before you listen to it again and really enjoy it.  When I first got into college someone was like you have to listen to Modest Mouse they are awesome and my initial reaction was “Oh that new song “Float On” is pretty good I guess.”  But after about a month of not listening to them I became obsessed when I started over again with them.  I guess the point I’m rambling about is that time changes all whether it be pain, love, some sexually transmitted diseases and music so when somebody tells you about a band that your not that into after first listen, give it a while.
