For some reason people give Avenged Sevenfold a lot of grief and I don’t really know why because they are very talented musicianships whether you like them or not.  The lead singer is no Robert Plant but who is these days?  The bass player is no Cliff Burton from Metallica but he plays under two very talented guitar plays who do actually get most of the praise in the band.  And for some reason people try and deny Jimmy Sullivan “The Rev” from Avenged Sevenfold’s drumming abilities and say he is completely overrated?  I don’t really know much people that talk about any drummer besides Travis Barker these days.  I think Travis Barker is a phenominal drummer and I thought that 10 years ago when this kid Steve wouldn’t shut up about Blink’s new drummer in 8th grade and how fast he could play.  All I’m saying is if you listen to most of A7X songs you will notice the drummer probably the most during the whole song considering he makes full use of his drum set and plays extremely fast. I even had a hard enough time finding a solo of him drumming and the best I could find was this 20 second live clip of him finishing off a song.   If you want to check out a great song of him drumming all you have to do is listen to the intro of “The Beast And The Harlot” and you’ll agree.  I’m not saying he’s the best but he’s by far one of the best up and coming drummer’s these days.
