Denver Technology.

Technology is a bitch, isn’t it?  A couple of years ago, Thing-One made the leap into the electronica world, using programs like Reason on the computer which allow you to pretty much create an entire album (if you wanted to) without a single musician…Spen (our man behind the curtain) pushed forth the idea that we  should use a computer on stage, and bang the audience double with what we had already been doing for years, making people shake their butthole.  Tonight as has happened before, we had a minute or two where the computer was acting funky onstage, followed by an amazingly awkard moment…”So guys, we’re Thing-One, and uhh, yeah, cd’s, shirts, we should be getting going soon, sorry about that.”  We battled back and played a great show, with monitors that sounded as swell as, whatever sounds swell. They were nicey nice.

Some old friends came out tonight which was super.  You think you’re so far away, then you get there, and you bump into grown people that you shared a childhood with.  Denver.

I didn’t get lost on my own and look for a strip club and wind up getting a cup of tea instead.  That didn’t happen.
