The head honcho himself beat me to the punch with the new Modest Mouse songs but I figured I would elaborate a little more on his post, respectfully of course. Modest Mouse just released their new single “Satellite Skin” for their upcoming EP which are 8 B-Sides from We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank and Good News For People Who Love Bad News. The song is definately worth the purchase and will be released on the EP entitled No One’s First And Your Next in early August. In the meantime the band is releasing four 7″ vinyl’s of two songs each, once a month till the EP comes out. The second 7″ is coming out June 23rd and will feature the songs “Autumn Beds” and “The Whale Song”. I actually heard a little bit of the song “Autumn Beds” over the internet and it’s a pretty cool folk style slow song that gives you the feeling of laying on the grass on a nice cool day which makes it a song for Hippies and Hipsters alike! The link for the song is listed below as well as the new 7″ artwork and track listing for the new EP. I am so amped for this EP because they are one of my favorite bands and one of the most original acts out there today so I’d appreciate it if everybody bought as Modest Mouse shit as you can since I’m shamelessly plugging a band I have no involvement with. Stay involved.
