Review

I just checked out the new Incubus – Monuments and Melodies hits and bsides album.  The greatest hits side is very mediocre at best and offers NO SONGS off Science which I find absolutely absurd.  It’s basically a greatest hits of the bands favorite songs they have done and none of the fans, I mean seriously Incubus, your  a cool band and write some good music but I don’t really consider “Oil and Water” an Incubus classic.  The B-Sides part of the album is pretty decent and offers some good songs such as “Neither of Us Can See” and “Punch Drunk”.  Obviously not epic songs for Incubus because they are obviously songs that didn’t make the album but they do quench the thirst for Incubus fans waiting newer material.  One problem I do have with the Bsides CD is the absence of “Crowded Elevator”,  a fucking awesome B-Side from Make Yourself  that should obviously be on a Bsides album.  Either way if you love Incubus then you’ll love this album, and the artwork is pretty cool too.
