So there is this awesome website I’ve been checking out from time to time to hear some good acoustic songs from up and coming indie rock bands. The website is called Daytrotter and it specializes in bands coming in to perform acoustic tracks of their favorite songs. They do some pretty cool interviews with the bands as well and talk about the adaptations of the bands songs from studio version to acoustic. And did I mention they do it every fucking day with a new band!!! They have had some pretty kick ass bands play on the website such as Margot and the Nuclear So So’s, Minus The Bear, Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes and Peter, Bjorn and John as well as some kick ass water color paintings of the band for their day. I would check out this website daily for new acts as well as check the archives for some of your favorite bands that have appeared in the past.
